Our Motto:
Incessus Apprehendi
(Come and Take It!)

Brought to you by:
Battery A - 1st Texas Light Artillery
An Arizona Living History group with
members from the greater Phoenix
and Tucson areas

We Galvanize as the 3rd U.S.

Our Goal: to safely, authentically, and faithfully portray a Civil War artillery battery. We affirm a key part of this goal is education of the public through school presentations and battle reenactments. We strive to respectfully portray our brave forefathers, on both sides of the battlefield, who sacrificed and endured through this country's great struggle. We work diligently to perfect our impressions, and work with all other reenactment groups at events to successfully portray our era of interest as true living historians

In addition to reenactment events in Arizona, we are available for hire for presentations, parades and special events.

"Artillery adds dignity to what would otherwise be a vulgar brawl"...
Frederick The Great.
